Our very own Consultant Orthodontist, Dr. Abdelhakim El Gheriani, was invited to lecture at the CAPP Masterclass on “The BENEfit System: Get the Most Out of TADs by Applying Novel Innovations.”
Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs), commonly known as mini screws, have become an essential tool in modern orthodontics, helping achieve precise and predictable tooth movement. In his lecture, Dr. Abdelhakim highlighted how the BENEfit system takes TADs even further—making them more versatile, reliable, and efficient for a wide range of cases.
The interactive session combined clinical insights with a hands-on workshop, where participants practiced mini screw placement in the palate and explored the steps for building mini screw–retained appliances. By the end of the day, attendees left with deeper knowledge and practical skills to integrate TADs effectively into orthodontic treatment planning.
