      Initial Consultation & Diagnostic Records

      You will begin with an initial consultation with one of our Specialist Orthodontists to determine the need and suitability for treatment. We will take photos, X-rays, and impressions for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

      Treatment Planning

      Following your initial consultation and diagnostic assessment, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that outlines the specific steps involved in your Incognito braces journey, as well as the estimated treatment duration and cost breakdown.

      Fitting & Regular Adjustments

      Your braces are bonded to your teeth, and your orthodontist ensures they are comfortable and secure. You will need to visit our clinic, typically every 4 to 8 weeks, for regular adjustments to ensure your teeth are moving as planned.

      Completion and Retention Phase

      Once your treatment is complete, your braces will be removed. To maintain your new smile, your orthodontist will recommend wearing retainers to keep your teeth in their corrected position.

They are virtually invisible from the front and effective at correcting a wide range of orthodontic issues. They work on the same principle as conventional braces: brackets and archwires apply controlled pressure to move teeth into their correct positions over time.

      Lingual braces are generally well suited to adults and older teenagers who want a discreet fixed option — particularly those whose case complexity rules out clear aligners. Not every appliance is suitable for every orthodontic problem, and only a specialist orthodontist can determine which treatment is right for you. A full clinical assessment is needed before any recommendation can be made.

      There may be a short adjustment period. Because the brackets sit on the tongue-facing side of the teeth, the tongue needs time to adapt to their positioning. Any speech changes are typically temporary, and most patients find that speech returns to normal within a few weeks as the tongue adjusts.

      Treatment duration depends on the severity of the orthodontic problem being corrected, not the appliance type. Braces treatment generally ranges from 12 to 24 months. Because adult bone remodels more slowly than in adolescents, treatment for adult patients can take slightly longer. Your orthodontist will give you a personalized timeline after your records appointment.

      Brush more frequently than usual and floss daily throughout treatment. A water flosser and interdental brushes are particularly useful for reaching around brackets placed on the back of the teeth. Continue seeing your general dentist at least every six months — or more often if recommended — for the duration of your treatment.
