Dr. Petros Yuvanoglu, Specialist Prosthodontist and co-founder of SameDay Dental Clinic in Dubai, will teach a hands-on course on intraoral photogrammetry on Friday, November 6, 2026.
The course is hosted by the Greek Academy of Dental Education (GADE) in Glyfada, Greece.It is open to dental professionals who want to learn how to record the position of multiple implants with an intraoral scanner.

What the Course Covers
Intraoral photogrammetry records the three-dimensional position of multiple dental implants. It is used for patients missing all of their teeth and for patients missing some.
The position of each implant in relation to the others matters because a restoration needs to fit every implant passively, without being forced into place. A poor fit can loosen or fracture screws and components. It can also lead to peri-implantitis, an infection of the tissue around an implant, and to bone loss.
Photogrammetry used to rely on extraoral cameras. Those cameras captured nothing about the gums or neighboring teeth, so patients needed an extra intraoral scan or a conventional impression. Newer intraoral scanners record the implant positions and the surrounding tissue in one scan.
The course covers four topics:
Hands-On Practice
After the lecture, participants scan with intraoral scanners and apply the technique themselves. The practice uses models that represent the real patient cases presented during the lecture.

Dr. Petros earned his dental degree summa cum laude from Semmelweis University in Budapest and his certificate in prosthodontics from Tufts University in Boston. He is adjunct faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.He is co-founder of both the SameDay Dental Implants Clinic in Dubai and the American Institute of Modern Dental Education (AIMDE).
A well-known international lecturer, Dr. Petros specializes in immediate loading and osseodensification techniques and serves as International Faculty for the Osseodensification Academy.
